New DART Routes Begin

Mark your calendars—All new bus routes will begin on June 14, 2026. We’re replacing our current routes with ten main routes that run more often, 7 days a week, on the busiest streets of the Des Moines metro.

The new network offers:

• 15-minute bus service on four main streets.
• Easier connections without coming into downtown.
• More service on weekends, especially on Sundays.

This new rideDART.com website features all of the new bus routes, including bus stop locations, turn-by-turn directions and schedules.

You can still view bus schedules for all of our current routes on the Services through June 13 page.
