Bus routes shown here will launch on June 14. New DART On Demand service will launch in late September. Paratransit will stay as shown.

Our Services

You can ride on our 10 main bus routes:

  • Routes travel along the busiest streets of the Des Moines metro.
  • Most bus routes run seven days a week.
  • A couple routes run on weekdays only.

Bus Routes to Schools

We provide bus service to some Des Moines Public Schools.

  • School routes run Monday through Friday on school days.
  • They are open to the public. Anyone can ride these routes.

Caravan Vanpool Service

Caravan allows you to share a ride to work.

  • You ride in a van with 5 to 12 people.
  • Vanpools serve an 18-county area in Central Iowa.

State Fair Park & Ride

We offer transit service from Park and Ride lots to the Iowa State Fair each August.

  • Park for free at two locations in downtown Des Moines.
  • Pay a small fee for a roundtrip to Gate 10 at the fairgrounds
