Free Rides on DART Bus Routes

All DART bus routes will be free to ride from June 14 – 30, 2026, to help make the change to new routes easier for riders. 

Bus riders who typically use DART for free by showing their school or work ID card will not need to show their card during this time.  

We will begin collecting fares again on Wednesday, July 1. 

DART On Demand Ankeny and DART Paratransit are not included in this promotion because those services are not changing in June.
